Non-Existent Freedom Of Speech in USA

I just learn recently about another accident of the hypocrisies of the US “democracy”…

nazi george bushWhy debate about “non-free” Russia are the hot topics in US media, US government applies the same control over available information: university administrators of the world’s largest scientific database (POPLINE) on reproductive health blocked the word “abortion” as a search term after receiving a complaint from the Bush administration over two abortion-related articles listed in the database. while it look like the “decision” was made by the university administration, a smart person will notice all the traits of the pressure from the House.

So, this reminds me not of Russian controlled democracy (however, they dont block public knowledge resources), but more of the Chinese government…

US citizen are better stand up for this accident (and similar cases), or they will be down the road to the Fascist United States of America (FUSA)!

US Candidates: Ron Paul

A US Republican presidential candidate, the 10-term congressman from Texas, Ron Paul says: “An Absolute Faith in Free Markets and Less Government”.

It smells like “I’ll let my trusted corporations to have a free ride off the tax-payers’ money without any audits”.

What does it mean “Less Government”? Looking at the US history, it mostly means “free-for-all” for corporations to have even more tax-breaks and less regulations in auto, oil, coal and nuclear industries. Is it really the “free market”? Freedom in doing whatever brings more money, even if it means that million people will be suffering from cancer, losing job security, health care, etc…? That kind of freedom?

Government is the servant of people, its main function is to protect its citizens in many ways, not only military…

USA: Child Health Insurance Issue

Email This Post To A Friend  • Print This Post

If you dont live in USA, you probably dont know that USA has the worst health care system in the world, creating a situation inside the country when families with average or below annual income cannot afford medical care in case of a major disease or an injury that require hospitalization for more then a month.

At this moment, the US Senate is making a decision on improving the child health care system for kids from families with low income per family member. The President Bush is trying to kill the program by any means, opposing Senate, giving arguments against the new care system that are far from reality or with no human common sense… Even Republican part of the Senate is all about overcoming Bush’ veto.

I was watching Bloomberg channel today and there was a presidential candidate (unfortunately I did not catch his name), who has very “conservative”, evangelical Christian view, the true warrior against abortion and for “Lord Jesus”. As usual, his argument against the new Child Care Insurance program was that “there are families which make $80,000 a year and still receiving the aid from the program”. What he does not say is that those families have 12 children, and single point of income (dad) with mother staying at home and taking care of the kids. Those $80,000 are not the same as the $80,000 earn by a family of three (mom, dad and a child)…
